The old HSK had 6 levels and about 5,000 words. HSK 3.0 has 9 levels in three stages and defines 1,110 syllables, 3,000 characters, 11,092 words and 572 grammar points, plus the topics and tasks for each level. HSK 7–9 adds advanced reading, writing and translation.
Does it teach all the grammar and topics needed for higher HSK levels?
